About

My passion for art came from my favorite crafter, Auntie Ann. She was always helping me be creative and try new things. When I was growing up, if you asked me what I wanted to be, my first answer was "artist." I miss her every day, and I every time I accomplish a new project or design a new craft, I think of her.

These days I get to work from home creating lovely skin care products to share with my friends, family and community. In my journey to free my life of chemicals, I’m learning to slow things down and truly find what makes me happy. For the longest time I worked long, hard and unforgiving hours while going to school. I was always in debt and living the worst paycheck-to-paycheck lifestyle.

The hard work has started to payoff. I still work long days and find myself with too long of to-do lists, but I’ve been able to accomplish so much. I’m learning to slow things down and stand up for myself more every day. The empathetic people-pleaser in me is a hard one to fight off, but I’m gaining some balance these days.

I love living a sustainable and frugal lifestyle. I want to do the things I love, every day of my life. I'm not working toward a future retirement, I'm living my life now, loving what I do every day, a life I don't have to "retire" from. My ultimate goal is to have a life I don't need a vacation from, now or later. I fully enjoy every day I get to spend with my husband and with my wonderful dogs.

There is a rewarding and fantastic world surrounding us. It's our duty to make sure we appreciate every moment God has given us on this green earth in this free country. Like I always say, life is too short to worry about being tall.

Cheers!
